The 2nd Sprint National Anaesthesia Project: Epidemiology of Critical Care provision after Surgery (SNAP-2: EpiCCS) is managed by the NIAA Health Services Research Centre in conjunction with the UCL/UCLH Surgical Outcomes Research Centre (SOuRCe).

SNAP-2: EpiCCS will describe the epidemiology of perioperative risk and outcome, and critical care referral and admission after inpatient surgery in the UK. It also aims to examine whether planned postoperative critical care admission is effective as an intervention to reduce postoperative morbidity.

SNAP-2 running in Australia and New Zealand!

We are delighted to announce that SNAP-2 will be running in Australia and New Zealand from Wednesday 21 June to Tuesday 27 June.

In order to have separate sites for the UK, Australia and New Zealand we need to make a slight change to the address of the SNAP2 web tool.

The new address for the UK site will be https:snap2.snapresearch.org.uk/uk.

If you enter the original address of https://snap2.snapresearch.org.uk you will simply be provided with a list of the three SNAP-2 web tools. Clicking on the link for the UK site will take you to the new address.

Any problems or queries please let us know, and good luck to all our colleagues down under!
