NIAA Health Services Research Centre

The Health Services Research Centre (HSRC) is the national centre of excellence for health services research to define, evaluate and improve quality in anaesthesia, perioperative care and pain management.

The aims of the HSRC are:

  • Initiating and coordinating large scale clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Conducting and facilitating research to improve patient outcomes
  • Expanding opportunities for supporting anaesthetists in their personal development in research and quality improvement.
  • Methodological innovation in clinical measurement
