Research Interest

Cell biology of critical illness; in particular the immunology of sepsis and ARDS. My research programme spans from basic cell biology, through to translational studies, and early phase clinical trials.

My research focusses on the mechanisms by which neutrophils contribute to acute inflammatory disease, with a particular emphasis on neutrophil-endothelial cell interactions.
