Small Grant Assessment Criteria
The RCoA's small research, education and travel grants are assessed against the following criteria:
Research
Criterion 1: Appropriateness and importance at local, national and international level
- There is a clear research question
- The work is original
- It is relevant to the NIAA vision
Criterion 2: Methodology
- The aims and objectives are clear
- The methodology is rigorous and justified
Criterion 3: Other
- The timescale is appropriate
- The amount of funding requested is justified
Travel/Education Grants
Criterion 1: Appropriateness and importance at local, national and international level
- The proposal is important for personal development
- The proposal is important for organisational gain
- It is relevant to the NIAA vision
Criterion 2: Methodology
- The aims and objectives are clear
- There is evidence of planned dissemination
Criterion 3: Other
- The timescale is appropriate
- The amount of funding requested is justified
