Sujay Rao Mandavilli is an Anthropologist and researcher based out of Bangalore, India, and is an EX-IBMer and IT professional. He has also published papers on the nature of the Indus script, and pin-pointed the origin of the Brahmi script with a great degree of precision, and these form a part of the proposed Twenty-first century school of Indology.

He has also laid the foundation for what he believes to be the Twenty-first century school of Historiography, including Anthropological Historiography. He has also proposed the Symbiotic school of socio-cultural change, Anthropological Pedagogy. Multi-cultural Ethnography, and has contributed to Indo-European studies, the origin of language, and language dynamics.
