Academic Clinical Fellowship Opportunities 2014

The academic partnership of Health Education North West (Mersey Deanery) and the University of Liverpool invite applications for NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow posts to commence on 6th August 2014.

There are 8 posts available in the following specialities:

CT1 Anaesthesia
CMT - CT1 (Infectious Diseases)
CMT - CT1 (Rheumatology)
CMT - CT1 (Clinical Pharmacology)
CMT - CT1 (Gastroenterology)
CMT - CT1 (Haematology)
ST1 - Paediatrics
ST3 - Trauma & Orthopaedics

Successful applicants will be appointed to a run through training programme with an initial training period of 3 years in the Academic post. During these 3 years, 75% of the time will be spent undertaking clinical training and 25% will be spent undertaking academic training and research. Successful progression will be determined through the Deanery ARCP process and will require satisfactory progress in both the clinical and academic training aspects of the post.
