Academy of Medical Sciences: INSPIRE Small Grant Scheme

INSPIRE is a five year, UK-wide initiative to engage medical and dental undergraduates with research. It is coordinated by the Academy of Medical Sciences and supported by the Wellcome Trust.

All 32 UK medical schools have been awarded an INSPIRE grant for developing innovative activities that aim to foster a research culture in all clinicians entering the NHS. A list of awardees can be found on the Academy of Medical Sciences website.

The second round of the INSPIRE small grant scheme is expected to open for applications in summer 2014.
