John Snow Anaesthesia Intercalated Awards
In March 2013 the NIAA announced a new initiative for undergraduate medical students to provide financial support for intercalated BSc projects.
The awards were funded by the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI)/Anaesthesia and the British Journal of Anaesthesia/Royal College of Anaesthetists, and were designed to capture medical student interest in anaesthetics and its related disciplines.
The NIAA was delighted to make seven awards in this first round and details of the funded projects can be found by clicking the link below.
The awards were advertised again in November 2013 and this time nine applications were funded in May 2014.
The NIAA is pleased to have been able to support these young investigators at the start of their research careers and we look forward to hearing more from them as their projects unfold.
